topic PIXMA G6020, heads repeatedly getting clogged in Desktop Inkjet Printers

We got this printer in March of 2023 and love it but recently we've been getting spotty prints.

About 2 weeks ago so I printed a test page and saw that some of the ink wasn't feeding. I did a couple of head cleanings and also a couple of deep cleanings and the printing became normal. It might have been then that I did a tank flush but I'm not sure.

Yesterday it started acting up again. So far I have done one cleaning and one deep cleaning with no improvement.
This is the original ink that we initially put in the tanks, and there's still a bit less than 1/4 left in each tank. Could the 1 year+ old ink be getting viscous? Would another tank flush help? Would my maintenance cartridge hold another flush?

I'm open to any and all suggestions, Thanks.

Hi Brewerpaul,

If an ink flush was performed already, there may be an issue with the printhead being clogged. Performing another ink flush may resolve the issue. Replacing the printhead may be an option as well. Printheads can be purchased using this link:

Home > Ink & Toner > Other Printer & Supplies > Print Heads > CH-20 PRINT HEAD

Please note, while replacing the printhead most likely will resolve this issue, there is no guarantee and there are no returns on parts purchased.
