    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi SHutton,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Instead of using Airprint, please download and install the printer and scanner drivers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once installed, then please download and install the IJ Scan Utility and then use that application to perform your scanning.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To access the downloads page for your PIXMA MX532, please use this link:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mx532" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mx532&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On that page, click the Software &amp;amp; Drivers box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Choose Mac from the Operating System drop down and macOS Sonoma v14 from the Version drop down.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the list that appears, please scroll down and click the Download button to the right of:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;MX530 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.80.0.0 (Mac)&lt;BR /&gt;ICA Driver Ver. 5.0.0 (Mac)&lt;BR /&gt;IJ Scan Utility2 Ver.2.4.1 (Mac)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Once they have all downloaded, please install them one at a time, in the order listed above.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Next, install the printer and scanner:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Settings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Scroll down to the bottom of the left side and click on Printers &amp;amp; Scanners.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; On the right side, click on the MX530 series and in the new window, click the Remove Printer button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Repeat until all MX530's are gone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Click the Add Printer, Scanner or Fax button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; In the Add Printer window, you will now see two MX530's, one Bonjour and one Canon IJ Network.&amp;nbsp; Click on&amp;nbsp; the IJ Network listing.&amp;nbsp; Make sure that MX530 is listed in the "Use" box at the bottom and then click Add.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After it is installed,&amp;nbsp; please open the IJ Scan Utility and attempt to scan.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Canon Pixma MX532, &amp;nbsp;iMac 2023 (wifi connection), Sonoma 14.6.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Image Capture IJ Scan Utility Ver.2.4.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have anew iMac with current printer drivers. Scanning a document at 400 dpi color takes 3 minutes per page.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scanning on my old Mac took less than 20 seconds.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What can I do to make scanning faster?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Please click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Settings.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In System Settings, scroll to the bottom of the left side and click on Printers &amp;amp; Scanners.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the right side, click one time on the PIXMA MX530 series that appears.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the new window, what is listed to the right of "Kind"?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you using your PIXMA MX532 wirelessly?&lt;BR /&gt;or with a USB cable?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
