Inkjet PIXMA g3000 Cleanup is taking forever

My printer was printing colors uneavenly. I therefore decided to do a print head deep cleaning https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/G3000%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1500.html. The issue is that its been hours and its still not done. The manual says it should last 3 minutes. I also do not hear the printer making any sounds. Is there a way to force quit the cleaning process?

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA G3000 series.
