Hi bigpain,

First, let's make sure that your PIXMA TS8220 is printing correctly. To do this, please print a nozzle check.

To print a nozzle check, please follow the steps on this page:

Once that has printed, please then compare your printout with the example on this page:

Does your nozzle check print correcty?

Did a black grid print to the right of |PGBK| at the top of the page?

Did gray bars print to the right of both |BK| and |PB| at the bottom?

If not, please perform a few printhead cleanings. To do this, please follow the instructions on this page:

Does your TS8220 print the nozzle check correctly?

If you reply to this post, please attach a copy of the last nozzle check that you printed.
