    <description>&lt;P&gt;I was recently given a lightly used Pixma iP8720 and I filled it with brand-new ink cartridges. When setting it up, I selected the driver for my current operating system, macOS Monterey Version 12.7.6, and installed it. The printer connected to my computer with no issue and printed a perfect test page. However, when I went to print a black-and-white image from Photoshop, it printed a "ghost" image (very faint outlines but nothing filled in). I then tried to print a document and it was completely blank. Any suggestions? Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ncharde.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;From your description, it would appear that PGBK is not printing from your iP8720.&amp;nbsp; First, please load plain paper into your PIXMA iP8720 and then print a test page.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To do this, please&amp;nbsp;hold down the Resume button until the Power light blinks 2 times, then let it go.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Resume button is the middle button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does your printout match the example below?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If not, please perform a few printhead cleanings.&amp;nbsp; To perform a cleaning, please hold down the Resume button until the Power light blinks 1 time, then let it go.&amp;nbsp; After a few cleanings, please print another test page.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If your test page does not print correctly after performing numerous cleanings, your iP8720 would require service.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
