PIXMA MG2520 will not print black except on test paper

When I run a test print page the printer will print black just fine. However, nowhere else will it allow the black to be used. Because the test page prints fine it should not need a clean but I ran one anyway just to try it. That produced no favorable results.

This printer has two black cartridges - a dye ink black for colored documents and a pigment ink black for text documents.

What are you trying to print?

Can you post a phone photo of your nozzle check page?
