topic G6020 has 5B00 error. How do I change absorber pads in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I have a PIXMA G6020 printer. It has a 5B00 error. I can reset the counter, but am worried that if I don't change the absorber pads I'll just end up with bigger problems later. I can't find absorber pads for it or instructions to replace them. Is my printer just toast?
