I’m having problems installing my new Canon TS 6350.

When Running the driver set up package I get the following error:

“Failed to acquire information on the driver and software.”

My PC is running Windows 10 Pro. I log on as administrator. And I tried setting the Background Intelligent Transfer Service to Running. All to no avail.

I was able to achieve some functionality by attaching the printer to my PC via USB and downloading and installing the drivers from the Canon Support site. But although the support site says the ij utilities would be included with the driver download I don’t seem to have them.

I’d like to be running the printer on wi-fi and also get the desired ij utilities. What do I need to do?
