Pixma TS3165 black ink words rubbing off/smearing

Hi,

My Pixma TS3165 (which I have had for a while now), after printing words on a page in black ink only, the words are rubbing off/smearing. I have had pages for weeks and they still smear if you rub over the words.

Is there a reason it's doing this now?
