topic PIXMA TR8520- Installation Failure in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I recently just got a TR8520 printer and decided to try and set it up. I'm setting it up through my laptop so I chose the wireless LAN method (I'm using the software setup instead of the CD; my laptop doesn't have a disc tray for it). Both my laptop and the printer are on the same network. However, it keeps saying "Installation Failure" whenever I try to fully install the program. I've uninstalled the program from the Control Panel, then tried to reinstall, and it keeps giving me the same error. Anyone have a good idea on what to do?
