      <title>Brand new Pixma TS6420a printer does not recognize ink cartridge</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Subject line says it all:&amp;nbsp; Bought a new Pixma TS6420a printer, inserted the included printer cartridges, and it gives me a support code 1687 and says the ink cartridges cannot be recognized.&amp;nbsp; I looked online and tried various recommendations to reset the printer and its memory (turned off printer, unplugged from power source for 10 minutes, reinstalled cartridges, held down power button, etc. etc.).&amp;nbsp; And yes, of course the tape has been removed from the cartridges, and I made sure they were properly installed, no dust on the contacts.&amp;nbsp; What's going on, Canon?&amp;nbsp; Help would be much appreciated, thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
