PIXMA TR8520 Trouble printing more than one page at a time

Sometimes I can print as many pages as I need, even 100s, but sometimes I'm only allowed to print one-page at a time. Why is that, and what can I do about it?

I thought I had told you that I have a Canon TR8520, but maybe not; however, I definitely forgot to mention that my iMac desktop computer uses Sonoma 14.4.1. I hope this helps.
