&lt;P&gt;If not using your PIXMA G6020 for an extended period of time, turning off the printer using the power button is all that is necessary.&amp;nbsp; When the printer is turned off, the printhead moves to the side and is "capped", which will prevent drying out.&lt;/P&gt;
