PIXMA TR8520 only wants to print to the rear tray

All of a sudden, my PIXMA 8520 default tray switched from the cassette to the rear tray. I am connecting from all our iOS devices (iPhones, iPads) but as soon as the device recognizes the printer it will only see the rear tray. Even if I manually change the feed setting to the main tray it will not recognize it. I do not see any place I can set a default feed, as suggested elsewhere here. HELP!

We have a couple different series with the numbers 8520, can you please check the front or top of your printer and let us know the letters before the numbers?

Hi Dgbrock,

Please try setting the rear tray to a different paper size than letter, like 4" x 6". To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Tap the gear icon at the bottom of your TR8520's display.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Device settings.

4. Scroll down the list and tap Feed settings.

5. Tap Register paper information.

6. Tap the Rear tray section at the top.

7. Tap Page size.

8. Choose KG/4"x6" (10x15) from the list that appears.

9. Tap the Register button at the bottom and then tap Next.

10. Tap the Exit button.

Attempt to print.
