topic Velvet Paper on Canon TS8320 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Hey I've been trying to use Epson Velvet Fine Art paper on my Canon TS8320 printer and can't really figure out any decent end results. I've tried various settings between both Photoshop and the printer itself (Matte, Card, every Hagaki setting) and haven't gotten solid results contrasting/fading/darkening the image noticeably. Ironically the reverse side of the paper which you're not supposed to print gives better results. There used to be ICC equivalents online from other paper makers like Moab but those links have long died off, was wondering if anyone knew of a decent setting or of an equivalent ICC filetype.
