thank you. i tried to check other ways of support before posting. but Chat is not available, site says - and no email support, only way is phone. and i am overseas now, so i can't call. no email? quite unuisual. most companies offer chat and email these days. so, my only option is to wait for a friendly soul on this support. i already regret going for canon. if i knew support is not really available as it should, and things are bad straight from box, i would think twice.
Thanks anyway. all the best!
Derek

Hello, i just unpacked and initialized G3200. everything looked fine. i use much more complicated printers for about 20 years, so i know i did all as per procedure. However, printer prints totally fuzzy images full of stripes and unsharp. So, i attempted to calibrate printhead. it printed a terribly fuzzy sheet which i tried to scan as per procedure. in middle of scanning printer stops and shows error 2900. i don't need to know the code, to see it prints so bad, like with old, clogged print head. it is so bad that it can't be used for allignment. i tried regular cleaning. no difference. i tried deep cleaning. no difference. Brand new printer works like a dying old junk. Anyone can suggest what is going on?
i uploaded 2 photos showing how badly it prints, after attempts of deep cleaning. just wasting ink on nothing. straight from the box? rather disappointing. I should stick to Epson in the future, perhaps...

https://img.gg/TN9cask

thank you, regards to the group
Derek
