      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you able to open IJ Scan Utility and scan from that program. To open IJ Scan Utility, click the Windows start button and scroll down to the Canon Utilities folder. Once you open the folder, select IJ Scan Utility and then try to scan.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We look forward to your reply.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There is no IJ Scan Utility in the Utilities folder.&amp;nbsp; Its contents are Image Display, My Image Garden, My Printer, and Quick Menu.&amp;nbsp; I've removed and reloaded the software several times (both from disc and online) and get the same results.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
