      <title>Pixma IP8720 suddenly not detected</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I first set up this printer - it would not connect wirelessly - fine - I set it up using USB - worked fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The next day - suddenly the printer could not be detected.&amp;nbsp; Spent a lot of time trouble shooting but eventually deleted&amp;nbsp; the driver and ran the set up again from the CD&amp;nbsp; -- everything went back to normal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That happened twice since and although a hassle, repeated the set up and all good.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today - it happened again (after months of working fine) -&amp;nbsp; I had finished printing about 30 13x19s with no problem.&amp;nbsp; About an hour later - the printer could not be detected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I repeated removing the driver and device but this time running the set up again did not work (USB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've rebooted my computer and ran the set up 5 times - but then it gets stuck at "Turn on the Printer" -- nothing I've done can get it to detect the printer - even tried the wireless again to see if that would work --&amp;nbsp; nope --&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help is appreciated&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The computer is still on windows 7 but it has been working great for months&amp;nbsp; -- it suddenly stopped working and will not reinstall -- can't detect the printer.&amp;nbsp; No software has been added between when it was working and when it stopped being detected.&amp;nbsp; I had also had turned off the firewall and virus protection - no change in behavior.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
