topic Printer Internal Part Came Out - PIXMA TS6320 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Hi -

This is a "really shouldn't have done that" moment, but since my printer cartridges started leaking ink such that my printed papers all have black ink smudges on the corners, I took it upon myself to clean inside the printer where the ink cartridges were. Unfortunately, there were small pieces in the area that fell out when I was moving a paper towel around. I have the pictures of the location where it came out and the pieces; if anyone could help me or point me in the right direction for what order/orientation to put the pieces back, I'd be forever grateful!

Without those pieces, the printer now doesn't pull the printed papers through all the way so it creates a paper jam. I have a Pixma TS6320 printer.

From the front, the right side of the printer

Three pieces that fell out

Let me know if any other information is needed...

Thank you!

Hi,

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.

Did this answer your question? Please click the Accept as Solution button so that others may find the answer as well.
