Using the power saving function as described using the steps to set the auto power to on worked quite satisfactorily. The comments by ArthurJ are greatly appreciated.

I have a Pixma TS9120 printer/scanner/copier connected to a Mac desktop with OS Sonoma 14.2.1. When I turn on the printer, the icon in the lower left of the window is x-ed out and the printer is offline. If I lift the scanner to, let the ink cartridges move to the left in replacement position, then lower the top, the printer will print and it will print as long as I leave the printer turned on. If it is shut off and then turned on, I am back to the printer being offline. Any help is appreciated

Hi,

To try and resolve this issue, please make sure the auto power is set to ON using the steps HERE. You can also try disabling the IPV6 setting on the printer by using the steps HERE.
