    <description>&lt;P&gt;My pixma tr8620 is giving error code 1240 - claiming the operations panel is closed - when in fact the panel is all the way open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried opening and closing everything multiple times, power cycling it, etc.&amp;nbsp; Same error.&amp;nbsp; Anyone else had this problem and have suggestions on how to fix it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wonder if it could be a problem with the sensor that detects when the panel is closed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All advice appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What Canon DOESN'T tell you is that the control operations panel has to STAY open while you print. If I leave it open, it prints. As I told their specialist a few minutes ago, this is like buying a car, but the engine won't run unless you leave the door open.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
