&lt;P&gt;Please go into devices and printers on your computer and then remove the printer listed. Then go into add and remove programs and if the MX490 series MP driver is listed, remove that as well. Once the printer if fully removed, please restart your computer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After the restart, click &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mx492" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt; and select software and drivers. Then download and install the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.02. Once reinstalled try to print again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>MX492 Double Sided Printing Issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Pixma MX492 printer. It does not print double sided. I tried with multiple programs (including Chrome, Edge). I can see and select the double sided printing option in the printing window but it does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the past, this functionality was working without any issues. It stopped working after receiving firmware updates following a firmware bug (1-2 years ago) that caused these types of printers to stop working for a few weeks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see below for more details. Any help is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Computer OS: Windows 11&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Printer firmware version: 4.050&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Page size: Letter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Media type: Plain paper&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection: Wireless&lt;/P&gt;</description>
