Hey There!

You'll need the standard/universal printer cable which is a USB A to B cable! If you've had a printer before that cable should work.

Don't you have the manual for the printer? Of course you need a cable to connect via USB.

Did you buy the printer new? Is this another example of Canon not providing a cable in the box anymore?

I think it's unfortunate that a manufacturer would not provide the USB cable, probably because so many users just automatically want to use WiFi, even if the computer and printer are right next to each other!

Picking it up new later this week. No cable free from Canon anymore. Online manual was not connecting earlier today.
