Unable to print on photo paper - Canon PIXMA MX492

I have had my printer for several years and I have been able to print on photo paper before without any problems, but now I am having some trouble. It keeps giving me a 1003 error, saying there is no paper loaded in the tray.

I pushed the cassette in all the way, aligned the paper guide to fit the 4x6 photo paper, selected photo paper/4x6 on the menu screen, flattened the photo paper, and made sure it was pushed all the way back. I am able to print on regular plain paper, but for some reason, it just keeps giving me this error message when I try to print pictures.

Please help!

Hi,

What version of Windows or MacOS are you running and are you printing directly when you open the photo or using printing software like EasyPhotoPrint or Photoshop?

I have Windows 11 and I am printing straight from the default Photos app.
