Canon G3270 Colour Issues with MAC

I am a big Canon guy so it is difficult for me to complain but ..... I have to say that so far I am very disappointed with the Canon G3270 Printer I just bought. At least running from a Mac. I have not tried connecting to one of my old PCs and don't like the idea of having to fire one up, just so I can prin

The software available from both Canon and Adobe is not available for recent releases of the Mac OS. As a result, with no colour management software, the colours are dull and washed out. Has anyone found a workaround? Do we have an ETA of when the software will catch up?

I got this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She is very underwhelmed at the gift!
