G6020_Page Layout function not working as expected

PIXMA G6020 / Windows 11.

8 months ago I was able to select More Settings > Page Layout > Pages per sheet > 4 ... to print 4 quarter page versions of a full size image onto an 8.5 x 11 page. I can still make the same selection but it only prints 1 quarter page image. Did something change?
