topic PIXMA MX926 Error Code 6000 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I have a MX 926 printer which has been working great until recently when it has come up with error code 6000. I think this error code indicates a paper jam but I have pulled the printer apart and can't find any bits of paper caught in the machine and I can't see any other issues with the print cartridge tray etc.

Anybody have any idea what the issue is. I don't want to throw the printer out as it has been a great printer.
