TR8520 ink level re enable

I have a Canon TR8520 that ran out of color ink and would not print an important document in black and white. I managed to disable the ink level detection. Now I have replaced the ink in question (Cyan) with a canon cartridge, but the ink detection did not reset. How can I re enable this detection for my cyan unit?

Couldn't find info in my TR 8620a manual. Possibly press the Stop button for 5 seconds again?

I tried that too, but to no avail.
