Service/Warranty PIXMA TR8620a grabs ALL the paper in the tray

PIXMA TR8620a -- Less than a year old. It grabs ALL the paper in the tray, not just one sheet. Web site is not any help. First, I was sent the wrong printer. Now the correct printer has functioned less than a year. I won't be buying another Cannon product any time soon.

Cannon' s offer, mail printer in at my expense. If it is a warranty issue, they will repair and/or replace. Return mail is at my expense. I can basically buy a new printer. That would also solve the problem faster.
