Canon iX6850 won’t feed correctly / detect paper

Hi all,

Does anybody know what might be happening with my canna ix6850 printer.

Recently its developed a fault where the printer continuously blinks the paper feed empty when there is paper in the machine. This happens after maybe a dozen sheets go through. I have to stand over it and press the fault light then it restarts and feeds for a bit and then errors again!

Additionally it is mis feeding paper through itself slightly diagonally. It’s just randomly started doing this

Any help here would be amazing
