PIXMA TR8620a Can't Select Pages to Print

I have enclosed a screen shot of the print window (I'm not even sure if this window is Canon software or from Mac's Airprint) from my cellular provider's bill. It's so detailed that it runs to 14 pages no less. I thought that using the Selection button, I could select pages 1 - 4 - 9 - 13 and just print those 4 pages but no! I can activate the Selection button but I still can't select any of the 14 pages in the sidebar. Any idea of why the Selection button doesn't work?
