      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When you connected the printer did you select add printer on&amp;nbsp; your computer or did you install the printer driver from the Canon website? IF you did not install the Canon driver, that could be part of the alignment issue?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are trying to perform the alignment directly from the printer, could you let us know if an error code appears when the alignment fails.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, check your computer for a Canon Utilities folder. In that folder should be a program called IJ Scan Utility. This program install with the Canon printer/scanner driver. If it is listed on your computer, open it and try to scan.&lt;/P&gt;
