Curious where you purchased this printer? Unfortunately, Canon does not sell printers with a "years' worth of free ink".

You may want to check with the place of purchase as this is not something offered by the manufacturer.

Walmart. It is an early Black Friday deal and it was on the printer at the store, and in the ad. It was purchased 8 days ago.
