I just got this TS302 printer from a friend. It didn't have any ink cartridge so I bought only a black one. Installed the black cartridge only.

Pressed the On button, the LED indicator below the On button flashed 4 times, and the Wireless indicator is off.

Load some paper and press the i (Info) button, it doesn't print either.

What's the issues here? Is the Color cartridge required to get it started?

Thanks for joining the conversation, tcfu! While I'm not a member of our support team, I do know that your PIXMA TS302 requires all of the cartridges to be installed for it to operate. Leaving out one or more cartridges will keep you from going any further.
