Canon does not manufacture any printers that are designed to be used with edible inks or wafer papers despite third party claims to the contrary. Any damage that results to our printers as a result of the use of so-called “edible ink” is not covered by Limited Warranty, and any claims or troubleshooting needed would have to be done through the vendor that sold the so-called edible print system. In addition, please note that there are potential health concerns with consuming food that has come into contact with parts of a machine not designed for use in food preparation and which have been exposed to various chemicals.
