Hello everyone, I’m having trouble setting up my printer, I keep getting flashing lights after I insert my ink carriages and I’ve done it several times and don’t know if it’s set up properly. This is the initial setup right out of the box

The Green and Orange lights should flash for a certain number of times before pausing and flashing again. Please click HERE for an alarm code list and let us know what error your printer is experiencing.

Hello,
I'm having the same issues also. I just bought my printer yesterday and installed the ink it came with but its blinking 15 times. I took out the ink and reinsert it again slowly; still same issue. My laptop is windows 11 system 64-bit, x-64 processor.

If you removed the orange tape from the cartridge and the error still appears, the printer would require service.

Since the printer is in warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
