G6020 Not Scanning

Attempting to scan on my PIXMA G6020 and received a message saying "Please select area to scan". I have a Mac so perhaps this may explain the message. Would appreciate any help!

Ventura13.4.1. It is a MacMini, Apple M1. I hope this helps. I am not sure what else you might need to know.

Hi,

Are you using IJ Scan Utility Lite Ver.4.0.1 to scan or are you scanning directly from printers and scanners?
