PIXMA G6020 Scanner function wont work

Hi,

My PIXMA G6020 wont scan. I reran the setup with my new laptop (WIN 11) and it prints fine, copies fine (so I know the scanner works) but the scan function will not. I am using the button right on the printer. I hit scan>OK. It says " "Please wait momentarily" for a minute, but nothing happens.

Hi,

Please open IJ Scan Utility program on your computer and try to scan. The program can be found under the Canon Utilities folder.

Does the same issue happen when using IJ Scan Utility? If so, please let us know if the printer is connected to your computer vis USB cord or wireless.
