    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there, I have downloaded the driver for my IP2840 from here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/WebPortal/PTL/ptl-setup.html?lng=en&amp;amp;type=setup&amp;amp;mdl=ip2840&amp;amp;area=af&amp;amp;os=w" target="_blank"&gt;https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/WebPortal/PTL/ptl-setup.html?lng=en&amp;amp;type=setup&amp;amp;mdl=ip2840&amp;amp;area=af&amp;amp;os=w&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everything seems to work, the printer is detected, but I get stuck at this part of the installation. It says that I must wait until the installation is complete, but at this point nothing is being installed, and eventually the connection appears to time out, and the installer says that the printer cannot be detected.
