MG7720 Firmware update - Printhead now not recognized

So there was a firmware update that was just released for this printer. After doing the update I now get an error Printhead not recognized. It was printing just fine up until I did the update. After the update it seems to have now bricked my printer. How can I downgrade the firmware to see if I can get it to print again.

Exactly the same problem, printer has been nagging me for a month, now it doesnt work even though it was working perfectly prior to the firmware upgrade.

You can try resetting the printers settings. Please click HERE for more information. Please be advised that if the printer was connected to your WiFi, you would need to reconnect it again after the reset.
