I just upgraded from a PIXMA G4200 to a PIXMA G7000. There are conflicting inputs on this site regarding whether or not the former inks and be used on the G7000. Yes, the nozzles appear to be different but is the ink identical? I have a number of unused bottle of ink for the G4200 which I would love to use.

The GI-290 ink bottles for your G4200 are only compatible with the following printers:

G4200
G3200
G2200
G1200
G4210
