PIXMA MG2522 Software Installation Rejecting Serial Number

Error Msg: serial number you have entered is incorrect, or does not belong to an applicable product

Trying to install software but getting this error message incorrectly. The serial number is correct. I work in IT and this is a true bug.

This is a printer purchased about 3 years ago...

Hi,

Most Canon PIXMA driver installs do not ask for the printers serial number. Are you downloading the MG2522/MG2525 MP Drivers Ver.1.02 directly from the usa.canon.com website?
