      <description>&lt;P&gt;I went through all the knowledge base already, did everything suggested, and nothing worked. I just bought an Epson about 10 minutes ago. Done with Canon for good.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I am not sure what you mean by "bricked'.&amp;nbsp; Does your PIXMA TR8520 power on?&amp;nbsp; Does an error appear on the display of your printer?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The PIXMA TR8520 does have a USB port.&amp;nbsp; It is located on the back of your printer.&amp;nbsp; It is #5 in the image below:&lt;/P&gt;
