    <description>&lt;P&gt;I still get a message "Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345). Thanks for the above directions. &amp;nbsp;I didn't know that those screens were available or how to access them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know if this makes a difference; &amp;nbsp;my printer is connected to the Mac by a cable. &amp;nbsp;I never could figure out how to set-up the wi-fi connection. &amp;nbsp;I'd appreciate some help on that too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Marge&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a PIXMA MG5320 printer. &amp;nbsp;It prints just fine with my new Mac computer. &amp;nbsp;When I try to scan a document I get a message that says: &amp;nbsp;"failed to open a connection to the device -21345". &amp;nbsp;Any idea what I need to do to get it to work?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi MargeM,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Turn the PIXMA MG5320 on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Repeatedly press the down arrow until you see the wrench and screwdriver icon.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Press the button below the wrench and screwdriver icon.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. Use the left arrow to select Device Settings and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5. Use the down arrow to LAN settings and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6. Use the down arrow to select Other settings and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;7. Use the down arrow to select TCP/IP settings and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;8. Use the down arrow to select IPv6 and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;9. Use the up arrow to select Yes and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;10. Use the down arrow to select Inactive and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once set, please turn your printer off and then your computer off.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When they are both off, turn your computer back on and then your printer and attempt to scan.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
