Canon Pixma MX490 series won't print because the function is nor supported on the app?

I'm trying to print a document from acrobat pdf. I click print, get to the print page and hit the yellow print button. Then I get a notification saying it cannot print due to the functions not being supported. I'm so confused.

What app are you using to try and print? Perhaps the app doesn't have the ability to read a PDF file?

It's the regular print plug in. I do have the Canon print app as well and it won't read the document either to print. Its a pa fishing license we bought online last night. My Canon pixma is several years old

Try opening the document in a PDF reader and print from it.

Don’t know then. I never experienced that before. Maybe give Canon a call tomorrow at 1-800-OK-CANON.
