PIXMA MX922 Won't pull from bottom tray no matter what I try

The thought my printer was worn out when it started making this horrible noise trying to pull from the envelope tray instead of the bottom paper tray so I bought a new, same model. The new does the same thing. I've set it to pull from bottom tray and it still won't do it. Sometimes it will print fine then it will start trying to pull from envelope tray and the only way to shut it up is to turn it off and turn it back on. Help!

MX922 multi printer. It sounds like it's trying to pull from the envelope tray instead of the bottom paper tray. I've gone through every setting. It's set to pull from bottom tray yet it still makes this load clicking noise and won't print. It thinks there is no paper in the tray. The paper is loaded correctly.

What version of Windows is installed on your computer?

If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?

I have a canon MX 922. For some reason, something I probably touched lol, when I’m trying to print something the paper pulls from the top tray versus the bottom tray which is the letter tray what is that 9 x 12.
