Pixma g620 printing strange lines (photo reference)

Hello! I just recently this last week purchased a pixma g620 and I've noticed whenever I print something it is streaky and has these horizontal lines across it (see photo). Sometimes they're light colored and other times they're just black lines. I've only used it a handful of times since I got it last week and I've had this issue every single time. I've tried changing the paper settings as well as using the cleaning option but neither have worked, and I've struggled trying to find an article with a solution. So I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this?
