A friend recommended the BJC-4550 for a specific application. I need to be able to print oversize pages up to 11" x 17". I think that this is an older model that is no longer being produced. Is there a current Canon version of this model printer?

Hello.

The PIXMA iP8720 would be the latest comparable replacement. This can also print up to 11x17 in size.

Please note, we no longer have printers that use Parallel connections like BJC series printers dide.
