All-in-one printer-scanners compatible with 10.6+, and Lion and Mountain Lion?

I'm looking to get a good all-in-one printer-scanner set up that is compatible with Mac 10.6+, Lion, and Mountain Lion.

Please list the compatible options.

We have several printers that are compatible with the Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 operating systems -- the PIXMA MG5320, PIXMA MG6220 and PIXMA MG8220. In addition to being compatible with the aforementioned operating systems, these printers also offer compatibility with Apple AirPrint. I have a Mac Pro and a Mac Air using the latest Mountain Lion OS. I have successfully installed the MF8380cdw multi-funtion printer/scanner/fax on my wireless lan (using guidlines from the Mac OS--not the Canon printer manuals). Printing works fine from both Mac computers.

However, I cannot get the scan funtion to work. I have downloaded a driver from Canon USA, but that has not helped. The MF8380 continues to ask me to install a computer for scanning purposes. The actual Canon product manuals left me clueless--and I really don't think they were meant to address a Mac OS install.

Is my procedure wrong, or is there a problem with compatibility?
