Hello.

The MG2520 does not support the use of magnetic or MICR ink. We can only advise that you use genuine Canon brand inks with our PIXMA products.

Hi, prada00! The PIXMA MG2520 and the PIXMA MG2522 are part of the same family of inkjet printers, so the information for for the MG2520 also applies to the MG2522. This includes how the printer is specifically designed to use genuine Canon ink and does not support the use of MICR ink. This printer is also not a laser printer.
